We are also present at the 46th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations organized by the Deep Foundations Institute which we have been a member of since 2018. The DFI 46th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations takes place in the MGM Grand’s Premier Ballroom, Level 3, Las Vegas, Nevada from October 12-15, 2021.
This conference is an important meeting place for us especially deep foundation, deep excavation, and ground improvement subjects.
We aim to reach all DFI members notably the USA, people or firms which are using ground improvement equipment, people who are interested in this subject, and students who planned or continuing their academic life on the ‘’ground improvement’’. In the meantime, we also hope to meet many people from our industry and provide links that will be beneficial for both parties.
About Deep Foundation Institue
DFI was incorporated in 1976 in the State of New Jersey as a nonprofit association. DFI is an international association of contractors, engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, academics, and owners in the deep foundation industry. DFI’s multidisciplinary membership creates a consensus voice and a common vision for continual improvement in the planning, design, and construction of deep foundations and excavations. DFI brings together members through networking, education, communication, and collaboration. With their members, they promote the advancement of the deep foundation industry through technical committees, educational programs, and conferences, publication of guides and specifications, a peer-reviewed journal, a flagship magazine, research, government relations, and outreach. What will be discussed in this conference?
The DFI 46th conference will discuss how to improve the odds of generating high-value foundation solutions when the house is the ever-changing challenges of variable ground conditions, extreme events, and demanding project constraints. Papers and panel discussions will be presented to explore and debate challenging geotechnical and foundation topics, including challenging and unanticipated soil conditions, natural hazards and resiliency, seismic design and construction techniques, risk mitigation and sustainability practices, innovative case histories, and new methods and equipment. The conference will highlight how the geotechnical and foundation industry increases the odds of high-value, high-quality projects using innovations, advancements, expertise, and experience.
