Developing Solutions Through Experience and Engineering

At OMS Vibro, research and development is a structured engineering process that transforms project requirements into reliable, manufacturable and application-focused machinery. Every new machine is developed by combining the specific needs of the project with more than 38 years of experience in vibro hammer manufacturing.

Our R&D approach covers the complete development cycle—from the initial technical assessment and concept design to digital validation and production-ready documentation. This integrated process helps ensure that each solution meets its intended operating conditions and engineering requirements.

Project and Customer Requirement Analysis

The development process begins with a detailed evaluation of the project’s technical requirements, operating conditions and customer expectations. Factors such as the intended application, equipment compatibility, site conditions and performance requirements are considered during the initial assessment.

Based on this evaluation, our engineering team defines the main design criteria and develops initial concepts suited to the project.

CAD Design and 3D Modelling

Selected concepts are developed into detailed 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The complete machine assembly and its individual components are evaluated together to examine dimensions, interfaces, component positioning and assembly requirements.

This digital design stage allows the engineering team to identify potential improvements at an early stage and supports effective coordination between design and manufacturing.

Design for Manufacturing and Long-Term Operation

Each component is designed with manufacturability, reliability and long-term performance in mind. Material selection, geometry, load transfer, component accessibility and assembly processes are evaluated as part of the development work.

Technical drawings are prepared in accordance with applicable ISO standards to maintain dimensional accuracy and consistency throughout manufacturing. These drawings provide clear production, inspection and assembly requirements for the relevant teams.

Engineering Simulations and Structural Analysis

Before production begins, the complete assembly is evaluated in a digital environment. Engineering simulations and structural analyses are performed to assess the design under its anticipated operating conditions.

These evaluations help the engineering team to:

  • Examine structural behaviour and load distribution
  • Verify critical components and connection points
  • Identify areas requiring design improvement
  • Evaluate operational performance
  • Confirm compliance with project and engineering criteria

Production begins only after the design has successfully completed the required engineering evaluations.

Continuous Product Development

Research and development at OMS Vibro is not limited to creating new machines. Feedback from production, assembly, testing and field applications is also considered when improving existing equipment.

This continuous development approach supports improvements in manufacturability, serviceability, operational reliability and machine performance. Experience gained from different projects is transferred into future designs, strengthening the connection between engineering knowledge and real operating conditions.

An Integrated Engineering Approach

By bringing requirement analysis, CAD design, technical documentation, engineering analysis and manufacturing knowledge together, OMS Vibro develops machinery with a clear focus on practical application.

Our R&D process ensures that every approved design is technically evaluated, production-ready and aligned with the requirements of its intended project.
